Cardiovascular Technologist – Cath Lab Technologist position in Saint Helena, California, United States. This travel assignment starts on 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and a 5x8 day shift in a short-term acute care setting.

Responsibilities
- Aid physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular, pulmonary, and vascular disorders by performing invasive and non-invasive tests.
- Operate cardiovascular imaging and physiological equipment; assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs throughout procedures; ensure patient safety and radiation protection practices.
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control protocols; uphold aseptic practice standards.
- Manage and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, including C-arm systems, angiographic injectors, and associated monitoring devices; perform basic preventive maintenance.
- Assist during procedures and in the administration of contrast media via catheter or direct injection; support the Cardiologist and Radiologist as needed.
Requirements
- Active ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) certification is required.
- Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice (CA) is required.
- Current fluoroscopy license is required within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor per policy.
- EPIC experience is required.
- Minimum two years of recent experience in the field; catheterization experience is preferred (one year acceptable).
- Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
