Travel assignment for a Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in Cath Lab procedures, located in Saint Helena, California. Start date: 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,782–$2,927 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures; conduct invasive and non-invasive tests as directed.
- Operate specialized equipment for cardiovascular and pulmonary testing, including fluoroscopy and physiologic monitoring equipment.
- Prepare and maintain sterile technique and infection control practices; ensure patient safety during procedures, including radiation safety measures.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs throughout procedures; assist with administration of contrast media as appropriate.
- Support equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic preventive care for C-arm, angiographic injectors, and related monitoring devices.
- Assist during catheter-based interventions and in the administration of contrast media under physician guidance; help with documentation and records.
Requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience (preferred)
- Licenses/Certifications:
- ARRT-R Radiography certification (Required)
- Radiologic Technologist license in California (Required; additional HI许可 noted in notes if applicable)
- Current Fluoroscopy license (Required in California within 6 months of hire)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (Required)
- EPIC experience required
- Experience: At least two years of recent field experience; one year catheterization experience preferred
- Additional: State nursing license per the state of assignment
