Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians
- Position and instruct patients prior to examinations; adjust exposure parameters and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time
- Prepare and maintain equipment and examination rooms; ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, document exam information, and report important findings to the physician
- Verify completed exams in the PACS system and communicate any concerns to the care team

Requirements
- ARRT Radiography (R) certification required
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License required for practice in OR
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
- Minimum two years of recent radiologic technology experience
- Ability to work in a short-term acute care hospital environment and handle imaging procedures as assigned
