How you’ll contribute
An Ultrasound Tech who excels in this role:
Performs sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician delivery of care and services
Maintains appropriate supplies and a clean and orderly work area. Notifies supervisor of needed items
Maintains equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity
Provides age-appropriate care to all patients
Acts as a physician/staff consultant and educational resources for appropriateness and accuracy of scans

What we’re looking for
Education: Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or School of Radiology Required
Licenses: American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Other; Graduate from an accredited DMS program OR DMS Certification.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire
Experience: ARRT should have one year of DMS experience (preferred only).
Required Skills: Familiarity with organization and functions of each hospital department Leadership ability, integrity, and initiative required. Ability to solve problems effectively and handle stress in a positive manner. Maintain harmonious relationships with nursing personnel, medical staff, hospital administration, and all hospital department.
