Strive Physical Therapy, a member of the Confluent Health family, is looking for a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team!
- Salary: $17-$18/HR
- Location: Absecon, New Jersey 08205
- Schedule:Mon - Fri. Shifts may start at 6:45A - 2Pm or 2P - 8:15PM Must be available for both opening and closing shifts and willingess to cover at other clinics when needed.

Responsibilities
• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources
• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance
verification/authorization, and phone calls
• Review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient
records, and helping patients understand next steps
• Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling
cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visits
• Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic
payment tracking or reconciliation when needed
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in a medical front desk, healthcare reception, physical therapy, chiropractic, dental,
or similar clinical office setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills
• Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, email, and basic
spreadsheets
• Ability to discuss payments, scheduling expectations, and basic insurance information with
professionalism
• A calm, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to help the team
