Medical Assistant (Part-Time Flex / Regular) – Russellville, AR
Job Summary:
The IMA Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team in Russellville, AR. In this role, you’ll support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality medical assessments and evaluations, working directly with patients in a professional, supportive clinical setting.
Schedule:
Part-time flex or regular, depending on your preference and our needs.
- Typically Wednesdays and Thursdays, between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM
- Hours vary by week: some weeks may be two days, others three
- Additional days may be available as demand grows, so there is potential for more hours over time
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and conducting medical evaluations
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories
- Perform routine clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and other clinical tests
- Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining medical records and responding to patient inquiries
- Maintain and organize medical equipment and supplies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Prior healthcare experience; Medical Assistant certification is a plus
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, detail-oriented approach
