We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our Multispecialty Clinic Pool.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Medical Assistant who enjoys variety and working with different providers, specialties, and patient populations. As a pool team member, you will provide clinical support across multiple areas of our practice and play an important role in keeping our clinics running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome patients and provide a friendly, professional, and compassionate experience.
• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, medications, allergies, and current concerns.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and provider visits.
• Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations and office-based procedures within your scope of practice.
• Perform clinical duties such as specimen collection, injections, point-of-care testing, and other tasks appropriate to your training and certification.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked examination rooms.
• Accurately document patient information and clinical care in the electronic medical record.
• Assist with referrals, laboratory testing, imaging, follow-up appointments, and other care coordination activities.
• Answer patient calls and electronic messages and appropriately direct questions to the clinical team.
• Provide coverage across various specialties and clinic areas based on staffing needs.
• Adapt to different providers, workflows, specialties, and patient populations.
• Support efficient clinic flow and work collaboratively with the entire healthcare team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA, infection-control, and patient-safety standards.
• Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CMA/RMA certification preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Previous Medical Assistant or clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in a multispecialty or ambulatory care setting is a plus.
• Electronic medical record experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing clinic needs.
