Registered Cardiac Sonographer Per Diem
Cardio Lab
The Registered Cardiac Sonographer Per Diem will:
- Perform echocardiographic procedures following accepted protocol and utilizing the clinical symptoms and data to aid in the diagnosis.
- Prepare patient for echocardiographic procedures.
- Communicate with Patients, family members, Physicians, Emergency Room, Floors, Clinic and their office staff in a competent and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Cardiac Diagnostic equipment, techniques and procedures required to perform or assist in the performance of clinical tests and procedures.
- Graduate from accredited school of Medical Cardiac Ultrasound.
- Required national registry, RDCS (ARDMS) preferred and RCS (CCI) will be considered.
- Work requires a high level of interpersonal skills to interact with patients, deal effectively with medical, nursing, technical and physician on staff.
- Work requires standing and walking 50% of the time. BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
Salary Range: 43.00 - 43.00 USD
We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
